The design developed through a series of sketches and experiments with different lettering styles and compositions. I eventually chose a Copperplate-inspired style, focusing on the shape of each letter, spacing, line weight and decorative embellishments. After developing the lettering by hand, I scanned my design into Adobe Photoshop, where I refined the details, adjusted the composition and experimented with colour to create the final outcome.

I enjoyed this project because it gave me the opportunity to work with traditional lettering techniques and develop my skills by hand rather than relying entirely on digital tools. It also helped me better understand the importance of letterforms, consistency and attention to detail when creating a balanced composition.
